Configuration Specialist

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Position Description This position is for one (1) Configuration Specialist to work on Driver and Vehicle Projects. There are 2 major applications- a public facing web application used by the public to primarily renew registrations and driver licenses and a thick client application used by motor vehicle clerks and the Department of State to register and title motor vehicles, obtain driver license and personal identification cards, register voters, and manage approximately 20 million vehicles and 8 million driver and identification card holders. The Configuration Specialist will work on creating builds for production applications. The cornerstone of this solution is Microsoft .Net architecture with Model View Controller (MVC), providing for integrated development, management, and security services. Based on the .Net architecture, this solution optimizes the distribution of hardware, software, data and control, making appropriate information available to the affected users and application across all phases of the project. All systems data is stored in the Microsoft SQL Server Database Management System. The Microsoft SQL Service engine is run on two servers while the data is stored on the Storage Area Network. There are interfaces to many outside systems, some real time, using MSMQ, others are batch. The security for this System is the Active Directory (AD). This System is hosted on the Microsoft Internet Information Service (IIS) servers using the Microsoft .Net Framework. All .Net objects, along with the client–facing Web pages are stored on the Microsoft IIS servers. Express SOS, MiEFS and Express SOS interfaces are deployed using the COMET.NET solution framework. The .NET architecture provides a set of robust facilities for application development and is the programming model underlying developing, deploying, and running Web services and applications for COMET. The .NET common language runtime and class libraries are at the center of the .NET Framework. The common language runtime manages memory, security, and language integration. The State uses .NET common language runtime running on Windows 2003 servers, which will be upgraded to 2012 in the near future. The .NET managed business components in COMET use ADO.NET to connect to the SQL Server database where the operational data is stored. Clinical Data Review

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

Looking for a clinical data review of patient profiles, listings, clinical database, lab sample and values reconciliation for a Phase I Oncology study in AML. Experience in reviewing Oncology data is a must. Resources will review data and work with Data Managers to write queries to resolve discrepancies in support of reaching database soft lock and hard lock. Other more traditional study management activities will not be required. 

Current or past Sr.CRA/monitor experience is helpful. Position is for 5 to 6 months max and will end at or near Database Hard lock scheduled for Feb 2016. Resource must be self-motivated, willing to do data review daily and able to communicate progress and maintain tight timelines.

Data Managers review the data coming from the sites and CRO.  After their review, the Clinical Data Reviewers will be doing a clinical review of the data.  They need to have clinical study experience/knowledge (and ideally they should understand oncology) in order to write the queries. 

This is similar to the ISA project when we placed Assoc CSM level resources in pods with data managers.  

USE THE BELOW DESCRIPTION:

    These individuals will look at eCRF data, see if it is complete, request completion of logical connected data (e.g. an AE has corresponding con-meds), plus look a profiles and/or listings for needed queries.  They will also be looking at or pooling queries so that these queries go out in batches for more efficient attention at the site and to avoid piece-meal querying.  

Background and skills required:
 
-          Four to Six years CRA experience, lead or Sr. CRA preferred
-          EDC/eCRF experience; work with Inform system of eCRF preferred
-          In-patient monitoring and/or complex TA studies/experience needed, due to the nature of the data on these patients
